Personal, fun and one-to-one

ilearnthai is a Thai language tuition service created and provided by me, Wirongrongraya Khananurak. To friends I am known as Aon and to my students Kru Aon. Kru means teacher in Thai.

I have been living and teaching in London since 2002. During this time I have developed and designed my own unique approach to teaching Thai and providing my students with the skills and knowledge to confidently speak Thai.

The ilearnthai approach is friendly, fun and personal. Whether you are a regular visitor to Thailand, have or are looking for a Thai partner, are learning for business, are retiring to Thailand, refreshing your skills or simply learning for fun; I aim to help you achieve what you are looking for.

About Kru Aon

Qualified, professional and friendly

I am a language and linguistics professional. I have a Degree in Mass Communication specialising in Thai language and its native dialects as well as Thai culture. Additionally I have a Masters in Oriental Epigraphy including the linguistic studies of Thai, Cambodian and Sanskrit.

My approach to teaching Thai is based on a deep understanding of language structure and providing a combination of techniques to help you learn Thai in the best method that suits you.

Above all else I like to build friendships with my students. I am proud to have made many friends with my students and have been teaching some students since I first started teaching. I see myself as more than just a teacher and love helping my students to speak my language and understand my culture even more.
